"Receive the Power": An International Ecumenical Youth Festival

As part of the July 2008 World Youth Day celebrations, the Chemin Neuf Community, in association with the Anglican Diocese of Canberra-Goulburn and the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra-Goulburn, is organising an International Ecumenical Youth Festival at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture in Barton, A.C.T.

From Wednesday July 9 to Sunday July 13, "Receive the Power" will bring together young people from all over the world and from different churches to celebrate, pray, praise and focus on Jesus Christ who calls us together.

The Festival has two dimensions to it:

• a YOUTH PROGRAM (which requires registration) for young adults, from both overseas and locally ...
• ... and a number of OPEN EVENTS, to which anyone may freely come.

We invite all young adults who would like to participate in the youth program, which is also designed to be an experience of Christian Community life, to register with us for the week. See the Registration page for more details.

Come along and join with 120-plus young people from overseas and around Canberra, to spend time together, pray, share, celebrate ... and take time to discern what you really want in life!
