Offices & Prayers
Since the 12th century, Hautecombe has been a place of prayer where cistercian monks were followed by benedictan monks. The Chemin Neuf Community pursues this tradition of prayer.
The Community is happy to welcome
those who wish to participate in these prayer times.
Laudes - 8:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday, except on tuesday
Eucharist - 12:00 noon each day, except on tuesday
Vespers - 7:00 p.m. each day, except on tuesday
The litugical offices punctuate the life of the Hautecombe Abbey.
Each day, morning prayer (Laudes) and evening prayer (Vespers) are sung, and the Eucharist is celebrated at noon.

SCHEDULE FOR THE OFFICES
Laudes - 8:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday, except on tuesday
Eucharist - 12:00 noon each day, except on tuesday
Vespers - 7:00 p.m. each day, except on tuesday
Tuesdays are a day which the Chemin Neuf Community reserves for prayer and retreat.
The entire site is closed on Tuesdays.
