Surroundings

Surrounding Hautecombe Abbey, the west shore of Lake Bourget, at the foot of the Alps, is full of sites to discover !

The Community of communes where the abbey is found, the Chautagne, consists of eight villages with a strong Savoyard identity.

This Savoyard land became French in 1860 and it keeps many testimonies of a rich past.

For amateurs of heritage, some villages have prestigious sites, and others, more discrete stones ...
