A Passion for Unity

“May they all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” Jn 17:21

The Community, from its beginnings, was marked by the presence of brothers and sisters from several Christian denominations, and it seeks to be faithful to the prayer Jesus said before dying, “May they all be one” (Jn 17:21).
The brothers and sisters of the Community are members of the Roman Catholic Church, Orthodox Churches, Anglican Communion, Reformed Churches, Lutheran, Evangelical and Pentecostal Churches.
They choose to live, pray and evangelise together, without giving up their own identity, and remain in communion with their respective Churches.

"We dare to believe in the visible unity of the Church, and we have received a call to work for that unity with all our strength. […]
The presence of brothers and sisters of different denominations at the heart of the Community confirms and encourages us in our vocation to Unity, just as it requires us to be constantly purified in our attitudes and our intentions - even in our choice of vocabulary."
