Welcome to the English language web pages of the Chemin Neuf Community!
Chemin Neuf (the name means "New Way") is a Roman Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation, founded in 1973 in Lyon, France. The Community now has over a thousand members in twenty countries, including single men and women and married couples, representing more than a dozen Christian denominations. Many thousands more are members of the Chemin Neuf Communion, Cana or Youth Fraternities. Since 2000, the Community has brought together its many activities in the Chemin Neuf International Ecumenical Fraternity (F.O.I.) and the Net for God network. Over five hundred Net for God groups now meet regularly in over fifty countries to pray and study together, united in their desire to work for the unity of the Church of Christ and for peace in the world. The links on the left will give you more information about our activities, and will tell you how to get in contact with us. The icon in the top left corner will return you at any time to the International Welcome Page. God bless you! |
